Hi. The handlebars have a square cross section. Anybody know where I could get a pair of windshield mounting brackets to fit?

I haven't seen brackets that are specific to these bars because they are unique, but this is what I intend to do on my '82...haven't got around to it yet! This would be for using the round rods that come with the windshield for the upper mounts, like Slipstreamer and others use.

Use the bolt at the top of the aluminum riser that threads into the end of the grip. Replace that with a longer bolt or threaded stud with a jam nut to tighten where the Allen head from the stock bolt goes. At the other end there's a few ways of attaching the brackets that come with the windshield. A chunk of angle is probably easiest, but a tapped or welded block on the end of the stud would be cleaner. Onto this you bolt the round piece from the mount (circled below). Since you can swivel in two axis, you can align the hole in any direction to accept the round rod coming from the windshield. I think this would be clean and sturdy and avoids drilling extra holes in the bars.
