Yamaha XJ900f TCI

Hello Everyone

I have a electrical issue and hope to find some wisdom here,

As I understand my wiring diagram the TCI power in feed is a yellow black wire coming from the clocks via a rev limiter, would anyone know what voltage I should expect to feed the TCI

My assumption is 12v but we all know about assumptions. I'm currently getting 2.5v volts and I cant see the tci being able to run off that especially as the coils are fed from it


And information regarding this part of the loom would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

I dont own a 900 but the diagrams I checked show Red/White as 12v+ for the TCI. This corresponds to every other XJ I’ve worked on so I’d would check that. Y/B looks like the rev limiter.
