There has to be a reason he did not take pic of the bike with the tank, seat and covers on.
Hmmm.... Where is the grab rail?

He doesn't have a title. But in GA you don't need one for any vehicle built before 1985. We can get what's called a "bonded title" for about $100. But if the vehicle has ever been reported as stolen, they take the vehicle and you are out of luck.
But I'm still interested, and plan to look into the title issue tomorrow. My plan would probably be to get it is good running shape and probably sell it with title. Might not make any money, but it might be a lot of fun.

Good question. Don't see the grab rail. I'll have to ask about that.

He has the grab bar, and he is getting the local police to verify that it isn't stolen.

No title. It can be registered, tagged and insured in Georgia without a title if built in 1985 or earlier. The owner is having a national search for liens, stolen property, etc. I have talked with the DMV in GA and no title can be issued unless the original title (or replacement) is available. So, as long as it stays in GA it can be legally registered and tagged with a Bill of Sale. It can be transferred to a new GA owner by Bill of Sale. If someone from out of state bought it then the transfer laws of that state would apply, and that can be a problem.
