I have relocated my new Dyna coils to a different location. Rather than butcher a good wiring harness, I purchased a second harness from a salvage yard, and am using the coil wiring from it, leaving my stock wiring alone and unhooked. One of the coils has an Orange wire, and the other, a Grey. Which coil is the left, and which is the right side? I have tossed around firing order, etc., in my head and haven't managed to decide which goes to which coil, or whether it actually matters. Thanks for the help.

    Best Regards

The orange wire goes to the left coil which fires cylinders 1 & 4. That's left coil as you are sitting on the bike. also known as the port side. Actually I don't think it matter since these bikes use the lost spark method but if you hook it up the factory way it leaves no question.
