The previous owner had installed 4 Amal MKII 2930 carburetors. Springs are too strong. 1 cable pulling 4. Very hard to adjust evenly with the amount of clearance and the shape of the carbs. I have no original airbox. I have access to all other parts but the main thing I cannot seem to find is 4 oem carburetors and the bracket for them. Please if anyone has a set to sell, let me know!! I am willing to get rid of these too with filter and all. I cleaned them and replaced everything w OEM parts.

Other than the stiff throttle how does it run?

Make sure you widen your search to include 550 Maxim carbs. You can widen it more to include YX600 and FZ600 they fit but are 30mm so might take some fiddling

It runs, but it's not a long term solution

The current carb setup is 30mm. I appreciate the direction. I need to get more familiar with these forums. I know someone has to have a set of carbs!

Jeez that's a £1000 worth of kit! I wonder why - when you can pickup a rack of Mikunis for about 1/10th that on ebay!!
