Hey all. It's been awhile since I was here last. Anyway, it's been a couple years since I did my valve shims and my exhaust 3 is out of spec. I'm having a hard time popping the shim out of the bucket. I'm using the zip tie method as it worked for me before. Any helpful advice would be great.

Rotate the bucket so you can access the slot in the bucket.

I did, and when I put my small screwdriver into the slot, it won't pop out.

Went and bought some bigger zip ties and it came out fine.

You did not have enough clearance then.

Exactly. I couldn't find my first one so I used a smaller zip tie. The bigger one worked way better!

A blast of air with your compressor, aimed dpwn into the slot, will almost always pop those stubborn ones out.
