Hello I'm new to the forum but I've read so many other threads on here, I'm currently rebuilding a Xj750 Maxim that has been imported from the USA and I'm in desperate need of the main wiring loom/harness, I bought a XJ650 Maxim Loom thinking it would fit my 750 but it seems all is fine until i looked at the front section of the loom and realised the clocks and headlights are different on both models and the connectors dont seem to be compatible is there a way to modify the loom to make it work or not? any help and advice would be awesome :D

That’s correct— the ‘82 750 maxim has the Atari-type digital dash, so it would not swap easily with yours. The ‘83 750 maxim would have a harness that would swap with the 650 maxim as they shared the guage cluster.

We should have a good used complete harness available for your 1982 XJ750 Maxim models, please contact us for further details: info@xj4ever.com

Be aware that shipping to the UK can be quite expensive.
