While doing some maintainance, i discovered a lot of dirt/debris in the airbox, in the front side.. So 'between' the filter element and the rubber hoses to the carbs- which aparrantly don't close very well.

I have not found an replacement for these rubbers..

How can we prevent unfiltered air getting in the airbox?

Make sure the filter is mounted correctly. Make sure the cover is seated right and screwed down. I'd say it is doubtful the dirt is coming in around the boots unless they are not fit into the airbox correctly.

The fit of the boots is, because of the inflexibility of the aged rubber not so great anymore...
