Screenshot_20250111-200300-779.png Is this a Yamaha Maxim? Looks identical to the one I have. I can get the whole bike for $150. No title. I really just want the motor. He has it posted as a 1981 xj750. Looks like my 82 xj750 Maxim. From my research, they didn't have a 1981 Maxim. Thanks guys.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure before I drove 2 hrs to pick it up. I know this is the place for help. I've learned so much in a short amount of time and Len at xj4ever is amazing!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure before I drove 2hrs. to pick it up. I know this is the place to go to when you need help and knowledge. I've learned so much already from this site and couldn't believe the parts that Len has at xj4ever.

    Yep:)

For ‘83, they went back to the non-Atari cluster that was shared with the ‘82-83 xj650 maxim, and went back to the buckhorn handlebar, too.

Nice find, hope you get it and are able to refresh it or do the motor swap. Doing a bonded title is a pain but can be done with a little time and effort.
