    Bought a non running xjs750 yesterday. As I wanted a first ever project!

    never seen a seat like that with SECA stenciled on it.

    The seat is definitely unique. I like it. I wonder if anybody knows if that was a factory option or what??

    In my opinion, the shaftie XJs do not make good cafe racers, something not right about a shaft drive cafe racer. Your 750 is fairly rare, and one of the prettiest XJs, I would restore to original. But it's your bike - good luck with it. Keep us all posted.

    Still not sure I bought the bike mainly to learn on something that did not cost me a lot of money
