Its got 14000 miles. I know the owner, he is a car guy and took care of this. He emptied all fluids and parked it in his (now my) garage a few years ago. I need to sell it so im wondering what estimates are on the used price of these things at 14k miles

Also I never even sat or touched a motorcycle before...I have no idea what im doing on this thing. Im cool working on cars so I can manage this task...

I put in some oil, a gallon of gas. It cranks but never turns over. No spark.

NOOB QUESTION but to start the bike I just put it in neutral and make sure the switch for the tank is set to ON and, if needed, choke. push the start button which is missing actually but i used a key to get it cranking.

The owner said he was scared to ride it cuz its too quick so he parked it. It runs fine or it did a few years ago. The carbs need adjusted he said and thats mostly it. I just am a noob. I wanna sell this as he asked. Id rather get more money for it running then not. plz help!

first off after a bike has been sat for a while , set the fuel tap to PRIME, that will by- pass the vacuum part of the tap, and allow fuel to enter the carbs, (watch out for fuel leakage) ,then try cranking the engine, is the green neutral light coming on?
you say NO spark, is that a question ,or have you checked the plugs.
is the handlebar switch in the RUN position?
