Can I use XJ750 pickup coils on a 1980 XJ650 or will there be issues?

They will have different part numbers as they are off different models, i.e 5g8 / 4h7 , that is the reason I'm asking. I know the Ohms readings are different on both but by hardly anything, what I wanted to know is will the 750 pickups work and be as efficient as a 650 pickup coil or would it screw around with the igniter box?

Well I swapped out the pickup coils and nothing but a barely visible spark, It eventually started but run really rough. I put the original one back in and it fired up first time.
