Tank difference anything special?

    IMG_1107.jpeg Just picked up this 81 Maxim XJ650H And it has a dented in tank like a SECA but it’s red, I guess it could have been painted but really just curious if it’s anything special because 90% of the XJ’s I’ve seen online have the teardrop tank. Just curious about that and new to the forum. It’s a project bike but is super clean.

    You are correct, that is a 750 Seca tank. If it works it works.
