Well following an engine swap, carb refurb and much swearing the engine is running well and I am pleased with the paint job.

First ever go at something like this. I am however a bit confused with whether the clutch problems are just cable settings or I need to take it apart. Not sure how to know.

it doesn’t appear to be moving very much maybe from 9 to 10 on a clock face.

    thanks in advance

Looks like you have the adjusters all the way out so either the cable is REALLY stretched or perhaps the lever arm might be off a tooth. (or something is really worn inside the clutch)

You should be able to remove the cable from the lever then move it by hand to see if the marks line up.

According to the manual: "...make sure that the punch mark on the lever should align with the mark on the crankcase cover when pushing the lever towards the front by hand and then install the circlip."

If it doesn't line up, remove the circlip, realign the lever and put the circlip back on.

I assume this is the mark they are referring to as it is the only mark I see on mine.
