Glad you got it solved. I was thinking you may have used synthetic oil for the break in, but that probably would have caused oil burning on all four.

Well I got the bike out for a ride today, on acceleration she smoked some, but I hope this is because the new rings haven't broken in yet fully, only have 20 km on them. The other thing is it almost sounds like cam chain is hitting the top of the valve cover, its a different noise from the valve train than I have heard before. The tensioner was put back in correctly and the timing was spot on, so I am not sure what this noise is, its kinda like a brrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz when accelerating semi hard. Have to pop the cover and take a look at everything.

It is not uncommon to have to make a Cam Chain adjustment after a tear-down and rebuild.

The timing it still on, but there appears to be slack in the chain. Maybe I have to remind the tensioner its automatic by doing the clockwise then fast counterclockwise trick.

    Exactly.

    Make it a two-man job.
While you are maneuvering the Crankshaft ... have someone "Tap" on the Hex Cap end of the Tensioner with a Hammer Handle.

The persuasion will help if its stuck or Oil Bound.
Once it "Clicks" and picks-up the slack ... you're done for awhile!
