This story has been told over and over, but here we go.
Dave re-built my carbs in 2016. When I got the bike back together, it ran great and did so for years! The past couple of years, I've had to add some choke to smooth out the idle (even after warm-up).
I took the carbs out (as seen in my last video) and checked float bowls, verified that passage in there was clear, next to nothing showing in the bottoms of the bowls. The starting circuit clearly works fine, so that wasn't going to be the problem. I put them back in the bike, but the problem persists.
Today, I took them out again (I'm getting better at this!). I pulled the pilot jets and blasted with brake clean to verify they're clear (they are). Short of "going to the church of clean" since they went there 9 years ago (and start and main circuits seem fine), any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

You checked the idle jets, but did you squirt the idle passages? It's a fiddle to do and likely to try to get you an eyeful of carb cleaner, but you have to do this, checking the progression holes as well as the idle screw outlet. It's a bit like playing a clarinet, with fingers doing things all over the place. And then, you need to synch them with vacuum gauges.

Heh, I've learned to put a paper towel over the hole I'm squirting into! Thanks, I'll take out the idle screws and inspect from there.
