I have my BS33's apart (from Maxim-X) and the emulsion tubes have a little shroud that clips onto the end of it.
2 of them are a real loose I thought I had lost one on the floor.
When I took the e/tubes out I thought these shrouds were all aligned, maybe to block the wind from the needle but I can't be certain, that would make sense.
I have some thread sealing cement impervious to gasoline, planning to smear a micro amount just to keep them in place. Anybody have advice for this?

I don't recall them on mine, but they could have had them. I know on our air cooled bikes that there is a hood for the emulsion tube. Helps with the process of the venturi. Good luck with that, and I hope it works. There is no seating point between the emulsion but butting up to the venturi? Just strange them little buggers are all by themselves and not part of the emulsion tube, interesting.

I had some epoxy for repairing fuel tanks so I applied just a little to each before snapping them back in place.
