Xj750 exhaust on xj700

    Anyone knows if i can use the 4 into 1 silencer Delkevic exhaust made for the xj750 on my 86 xj700 Maxim s? Thanks in advance.

    I don't have a definitive answer but since no one else having done it has chimed in I'll give you an educated guess.
    The pic included does not show a bracket to hold the silencer end.
    Whatever is supplied to hold the silencer to the pillion footpeg bracket of the 82 might need to be fabricated or altered by you to fit your 86.
    The mounting to the head is guaranteed to fit.
    Sometimes aftermarket 4-1's interfere with the centre stand.
    At minimum you may need to fabricate something to hold the rubber bumper so the stand does not clang against the pipe.
    Sometimes the centre stand has to go.
