That'd probably be the MAC system - the Jardine might be pretty close in price too.

Last I knew, they were the only two offering a complete replacement system for our bikes...

    A good place?

I'd get it from Dennis Kirk, if you want a good place.

Or you can take your chances on Ebay.

But I'd prefer the first method.

To be honest, after having the 4-into-1 for a bunch of years now, I kinda think I'd like to go back to the stock look 4-into-2. The bike just appears.... lopsided... with the single muffler. And the performance change was only negligible at best, so can't really justify it that way.

I have to agree as far as the looks go. A dual upswept exhaust just looks right on an XJ.

Just so you know, the 650 Maxim and the 750 Seca use the same identical exhaust system. I took my MAC 4-into-1 system off (sold it) and installed the stock 4-into-2 system off of a 650 Maxim> I didn't use the stock mufflers. Instead I used two of those shorty mufflers I found on Ebay. It sounds better now then it did with the MAC system and looks better with a muffler on each side I like it anyways)

Nice shipping cost on that one, would be $128.00 to ship to my address. The Jardine slipon mufflers are well bult, mine seemed a bit weak in sound, but it may have been the Radian header and midpipe affecting it because someone here has the same mufflers and the sound good. I also like the 1 to a side look and felt that the minimal power gain of a Mac system was not worth the better looks of the stock Seca reverse cone mufflers. The Seca mufflers also sound great. Another option would be the EMGO Dunstall replica mufflers. The shorter reverse cones are nice looking and have a really good sound. They are a bit cheaper than the Jardines too. cruzerjd
