You're going to love the Venture. You can ride it all day, it's so confortable. But be careful in the parking lot, it's got a high center of gravity.

Looks like a three year old got loose with their stickers. Please tell me you are going to remove the stickers! Should be a nice bike for touring.

My thoughts exactly on the stickers. It looks like the tricycle of the 4 year old that lives down the street.

I do like those big bikes and even looked at couple last week but the gas milage is pretty poor isn't it? Then I thought, Wait a minute, I already have an SUV.

What I did look at last week was a Susuki V-strom and darn near took posession of it when I realized that I really need a two car garage instead. So in about a month I will build my garage. That way I have a space to work on my Maxim to keep it running. I really, really want a duel sport machine. and almost 6 gallons in the tank, Oh my!

I need to stop or I may talk myself right back into it.

A friend of mine has a Honda Pacific Coast. Ugly as sin but my word does that thing go down the road sweetly. And I must say, that trunk would be some handy too. The big problem is that some maintenance items could take you hours to perform. Just to replace the battery you have to take off 4 pieces of tupperware and become a contortionist to get it out.

The BMW GS Adventure is my dream. Some Day.

    Yeah, stickers will go.

Supposedly he laid it down last year. Says he had a tire go flat at 30mph in the rain and laid it down. Somehow he apparently got it to slide UPSIDE DOWN. THE front master cylinder cover has road rash as well as the luggage rack on the trunk.

Anyhow, rather than try to match the original color (blue) he painted the top white. The subject of the stickers didn't come up.

Plan is to go over the mechanicals ASAP to make sure it's reliable and safe. Next winter I'll strip the plastics off, clean up, and paint.

You lose. Way worse in person.

Where in Ohio? Just a short ride away or an all day trip?

I had to make room for your XJ so I pushed it out back next to the train tracks.

I like the blue and white combo too. I may end up with a similar scheme. Something without the stickers and scuffs on the tank.

Oh, I didn't really put it out back. I pick up tomorrow.
