I bought a new fuse box to replace the 30 year one. ( Hopefully to help with my intermitten starter problem ) When I went to replace it I could not figure out if the fuses in it were correct. One has been rigged with a 35A fuse one is a 15A and the others are 10A. If someone could help, that would be great. My manual does not arrive until Friday and I want to ride!

Where did you find the new fuse box? I'm having a hard time locating a new one.

See the post by Chacal here. He sells them.

Oh and to answer the original question: I believe the main is 20A and the rest are 10A. At least on my bike.

    For a 650H 20A Main, 10A for the rest.

I found the fuse box at Radio Shack about $3.50. I will make pigtails to make is easier to install.

Thanks for the order and type. That helps!!!

Any automotive store sells all kinds of fuse panels, some with covers. Try PepBoys, Checker Auto, Napa, etc. and you should find something that will work. I think I bought mine at a Fleet Farm store. PD
