I'm new to street and looking for a good and comfortable full face deal.

I've been looking at the HJC full face helmets and some of them seem pretty comfortable at about 90 bucks. I was just wondering if any of you use these helmets and how comfortable they are in the summer? Thanks.
Also, I'm open to many suggestions of different types of helmets to look into. What's your brand?

HJC helmets gave me a headache wearing them, too much pressure on my forehead.
I tried on what was available around here and found that a Shoei full face was the best fit and very comfortable. It's what I now use, just didn't like the price!

I've owned my HJC (FJ 3) open faced helmet for over a decade. I can say I wouldn't want any different helmet. It's comfy and , since it's made of kevlar composite, it's really strong as well.

Just a word to the wise......

...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I highly suggest getting a "Good" helmet. And those $90 helmets are not all that good. They're not bad for a budget. But if you value your brains, get a "Good" helmet. Mine cost me $260 when I purchased it. And it's just an open faced helmet.

    My $0.02,

Haha, well I one day hope to be a college professor so I do value my brains quite highly. Thanks for the advice.

Shoei are good helmets. My last three helmets were Shoeis.

I'm currently wearing an HJC AC-12. It's a solid comfortable helmet. It also weighs less and has less wind noise than my last helmet, a Shoei Z-II.

The key is to find a helmet that fits the shape of your head. The HJC CL-14 wouldn't fit me, but the HJC AC-12 does.

You can get some pretty good deals on helmets in the Closeout section of www.newenough.com

    No, it's an RF-1000 - I like the fit/comfort.
I haven't tried hitting my head against anything solid yet, so don't know how it will stand up that way!

I'm currently using an HJC full face helmet model MB-II. It's very comfortable but hot in the summer however everything here is hot in the summer.

I wear an HJC CL-15 helmet. If memory serves, I think I paid about $130 for it. I've been pretty happy with it.

I wear an HJC CS-12 and my brother wears an HJC as well..but he rides a Harley, so we won't talk about him. Neither of us have had any trouble with our helmets though! No complaints.

RF-1000 is the model name of one of Shoei's full-face helmets. It is their mid-priced helmet.

The AC-11 is their top Full-face helmet, followed by the RF-1000 and then the TZ-R. All of which are quality helmets.

I have an HJC and like it a lot. Previously, I had 2 KBC helmets, which did the job, but were noisy and bulky. I think past a certain point, you are paying more for features, comfort, and the name, more than extra safety.

I've done a crash test with a HJC AC-11, the helmet had the side smashed in after my race bike siezed and I head butted the ground at about 100kmh, I did a 5 hour drive home afterwards so I came out alright

I now use a HJC FG14 for both my road riding and racing, comfortable helmet, bit more road noise than I'd like but I use airplugs anyway, fogs up a bit easy to

I'm wearing a CL-12. A little tight on the sides, but it still feels comfortable. Lots of room in the chin guard area.

I have the HJC SY-MAX. Paid about ~$210, it was on sale!!
Modular so heat is not an issue. Nice vents, there is a whistle when my head is turned :( Only complaint
