Hey guys I just got my new tires today Bridgestone spitfire S11 130/90-18 they look great but I discovered that the overall diameter is larger than the original. Has anyone put these tires on there bike and did you have any clearance problems it looks like I will have much less travel between the tire and the fender ??????

Could be nice to know what bike.
And also add said bike to your signature.

I WILL assume you mean a SECA?
    I *Think* I have a 130 metzler now.

southpaw, there is no standard way of measuring the outside diameter of a tire, they only list the wheel size, width and aspect ratio so tires with the same specs can have different outside diameters. For instance, Dunlops made for HD stand taller than the same size standard tire. Ones with different tread will have different diameters and widths too. The only way to tell if a tire will fit with the proper clearance is to measure it in the store or compare it side by side with one that you know will fit.

If you want to raise the seat height then get a Harley branded Dunlop tire, they are taller than standard tires.
