This bike will be completely parted out starting in the next week or two. Everything is available. Most everything is in at least 'fair-to-good' condition or better.

I am posting this for friend, so please contact phred3512@cox.net for more information or details on specific parts.

You can also visit his website, http://www.carpadm.net/index.htm . He has a large inventory of Yamaha parts, especially 1980's, for a wide range of models. If you don't see what you are looking for, send him an email and ask. He might just have what you want.

It has no title. Because he has other bikes, he would rather part it out than go through paperwork needed for a salvage title.

If someone is interested in the complete bike, he might consider offers. I did not ask him about that.

    His email is phred3512@cox.net

Also, Chacal could you please 'pm' me. He has inventory you might be interested in.

So beautiful. It makes me sad that it is being parted. If I were closer and had the money...the things I would do to that...

It's pretty sad to see a complete bike being parted out but it will put a few others back on the road.

A title can be obtained for the bike. I just got a certificate of registration and a legal license plate for a 85 Honda Shadow that I bought a bit back with no title on it. It cost me $165 to get it. If the bike is any good at all it is worth it.

    Howdy All!

I agree, bike is soooo pretty and it is sad to see it be dismantled.

I actually just bought an 82 Seca 400 and was curious to see if anyone knows whether the fairing and/or gass tank from a 900 will fit the 400. Need a new tank as it is pretty rusty, want a fairing because well, it looks plain amazing. Actually now that I think of it, the front end on the 400 is a bit out of alignment and I haven't had a chance to see whats really going on, but the front wheel is slanted a tad to the left. Would the forks/triple clamp fit the 400?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chris
