Newbie XJ owner

    Just purchased a 81 XJ Seca, 12,000 miles, really nice shape. However I am having the patented carb creeper problem (high idle) when bike is fully warmed up. I am aware(thanks to you guys) that i need to replace the butterfly shaft seals that i can find at McMaster -Carr. However I needed to know where to get a carb rebuild kit from? I am going to get new boots so I hope im covering all my bases. Great site, have already learned a lot here. I also have the XJ CD in the mail.

    OldBikeBarn.com has rebuild kits. So does Motorcyclecarbs.com for more money. My local shop doesn't, apparently.

    Last I checked they had the best price on carb boots/ manifolds.
    You can find the carb kits there also.
    I bought mine there along with a petcock kit.
