HeyHowdy, folks. I'm looking for a 650 Seca. Prefer as close to original as possible. Prefer running condition. Prefer a title if available. Hoping to find something close to stock, including paint, but will consider any and all. I live in the suburbs of Washington DC, and will travel for the right bike, say 1000 miles max round trip.

If you have an '82 650 Seca that needs a good home, please let me know.

    Many thanks,
    George

I have one with 6800 miles. I bought it off Ebay last summer. I've put new fork seals, new steering head bearings, new air filter, new brake pads, cleaned carbs, and put an $850 stainless pipe on it. It has a few scratches but runs great. I love it. I would take $4k for it.
I too wanted one real bad. I used to assemble them from crates long ago.
Good luck finding a good one.

I've had several and regretted selling each one. Found a couple up around here but they were hopeless beaters...a real shame. I hate seeing people chop 'em up, but I guess that's their business.

Bought one new in 84 and put 115,000 miles on her. Best bike I've ever owned.

I'll find one one of these days.

I have an 82 650 Seca that I've owned from new I might be selling, as I'm finally looking for something bigger. It all depends if I find something at the right price that I like riding as much as mine. It's in pretty good shape, I've put about 35K on it. I'd like to have a 900 Seca, but there are about impossible to find.

What is the best way to get ahold of you if I decide to sell? I'm in south central PA?

Would consider selling. Bought in N. Va. in 1982. Lockhart oil cooler. Rode until 1993. 32 k miles. Kept in garage. Recoditioned summer 2006. Currently runs as well as it ever had. Love the bike and want to keep, but spouse not exactly psyched about all the bikes in the garage. Contact jathomas42@sbcglobal.net for more info. Currently in Texas.

I have two of them listed in this same forum. The one with original paint was my first bike and I liked it so much I bought two more but have to choose the best to keep.

My original post has a link to several pictures. I'm selling at a fair/cheap price in order to move them.

If interested just let me know.
