where is the fuse box?

    Hello everyone, I am new to this group, also new to yamaha, I just got a 1981 seca 650, I am going throught the wires and everything else to find if I need to do any repairs, I could not locate the fuse box, I do not have a repair or workshop manual for this bike, so any input will be appreciated.

    The fuse box should be under the seat. Mine is after market, but I think the OEM is in a covered box a little larger than a deck of cards.

    Let me know if I can help with any fuse box questions. I've successfully replaced four of them on mine and friend's XJs. Here's a link to a pic of the Radio Shack fuse panel I made fit in the stock fusebox enclosure, and I've also attached a picture of a blade type fuse panel I installed on my Seca 550.
