Parts need help.

Hey guys. I need a cylinder head gasket and a set of tank emblems for a 82 xj 650. Any ideas on where would be the best place to get these things. My local bike guy wants to sell me the complete gasket kit for 150 bucks. All I want is the head gasket.

I have seen just the head gasket on e-bay before. As far as the tank emblems, they are gonna be a lil harder to find. They have a tendency to crack, break and crumble. I would also see if vesrah has their own web site you might be able to order from.

 

I carry the 82-3 650 head gaskets as an individual part:

HCP4693 OEM cylinder Head Gasket, brand new.

And also offer the complete "top end" aftermarket gasket set that contains the valve cover gasket, the head gasket, the cylinder base gasket and o-rings, cam tensioner gasket, cam chain guard gasket, intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, and the valve stem seals.

Also the tank emblems:

HCP14 OEM XJ650 gas tank Emblem "Yamaha", gold with black reliefs, brand new, left side.
$ 29.00

HCP140 OEM XJ650 gas tank Emblem "Yamaha", gold with black reliefs, brand new, right side.
$ 29.00


HCP142 OEM gas tank emblem mounting Screw, use 2 per emblem.
$ 0.50 each

Thanks for the replies. Hey Charol, I am going to drop you a line soon anyway. I will need a carbtune and morgan sync tool. Maybe I will add these things to it as well. Somebody sent me a link to some of these things on ebay so I am go to bid on these. If that falls through then I will be placing on order with you.
