seat rubbing tank...

    the tank paint under the seat is almost gone,

    is there any way to prevent this?

    or any tricks to help a bit? :idea:

    Only thing I know of is a tank protector. The kind you place under a tank bag. But it must be thin so the seat will still go into place and lock in.

    I painted my tank this winter and where the seat rubs is ruined. But the seat covers it so I'm not to worried.

    There's that thin clear material that is applied to the front end of cars to protect from chips and such, maybe that would work? I can't think of what it's called or sold as though... :?
