:( I parked my 82xj650 last weekafter a smooth Sunday cruise & went back to the garage Tuesday to find it dead . ABSOLUTELY NO SPARK I changed the plugs , coils , cdi unit , checked all fuses , it's getting fuel , battery is strong {1yr old } & I'm getting weak...I have had the bike for 4 years without any problems that were not " normal " maintenance stuff ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED , I'm no mechanic , but willing to get my hands dirty....THANKS IN ADVANCE

At your CDI, are you getting ~12volts on the Red/White wire with the key on and kill switch on?

It means you got no power to the ignition circuit.

Do you have the stock fuse block? If so, that may be the cause of your intermittent failure. I recommend changing it out with a new ATO style before the problem comes back.
