    That bike isn't too far from me. I could always tell the wife it's for when my oldest gets a license. In about five years. I would, of course, need to take it out once in a while, just to make sure all is in good running order. :wink:

    I emailed asking when it was last started. I'll let you know what he says.

    Thats funny, that is my local Yamaha dealer. I call them Speed and Greed, they are alittle pricey on there parts. They accually bought an `81 Yamaha 650 special off me thru ebay.

    This guy has a large warehouse where he stored all his bikes. He is a huge collector of Yamaha bikes.

    Looks like he is looking to clear out some of his treasures.

    TITLE- - - other ? ? ? other than having a title, a 900 dirt bike?
    The fairing and tail fairing are re-paints, and none of the pics are close enough to show damage. I got 5 days to think about a spare 900.

    Here's the response I received:

    "All motorcycles have been on display in our showroom, and have not been started for over 8 years. All will need to have carbs removed and cleaned before starting. The Seca 900 does not have digital instrumentation.
    Needs a new seat cover. Sold with bill of sale, buyer will need to apply for title."

    Engine was rebuilt at under 18000 miles, I wonder why? Im guessing someone beat the snot out of her or just didnt know how to maintain her.

    I will be going down that way today after work, I may be stopping by to check this girl out. I will let you all know what I find out about it.

    well, the bidding is at $1,000 with no title.

    Can anyone ID the exhaust system, it looks like mine, with a tiny, yet somewhat quiet aluminum silencer.
