i found a workaround. hit the minus buttons on the stuff on the left. Seems theres something over there breaking the frames/tables layout.

Edit: for the record, shrinking the advertisement and donate parts worked for me, but i shrank the google and total hits ones too.

I find this happening on the second (or more) page of a post. In addition, everything in the title box (except the icon images) is missing unless a force a page redraw by resizing the window. I'm blaming the new CSS, myself. This all started after the last upgrade.

For curiosity, have you tried with Firefox? (or an Apple Browser?) Haven't noticed the problem myself (current Firefox) though just may not be paying enough attention.

    Yes, same here.

I've also noticed that PM's seem to be disappearing. People say they have sent them to me and I never get them. In addition, on occassion, I will get a "NEW PRIVATE MESSAGE" notification via e-mail, and when I go to my Inbox, there "ain't"................

I use FF at home and IE7 at work.
    Threads with BIG pictures:
FF: the left-right scroll is at the bottom of that single POST. Requires moving to the bottom of the post to slide right, then back up the page to the picture I'm trying to view.
IE7: left-right scroll is at the bottom of the WINDOW. Anywhere in the THREAD, I can stop my down scrolling and move right and left to view HUGE pictures.

I am running 99% with ONLY the thread displayed, neither the left or right columns are showing. This helps wiht the only slightly oversized pictures.

I did notice in FF that since the last update, the page up/down buttons on the keyboard work correctly. Before Page up/down flew to the far end of the page, not just one screens worth, and that was on all sites, nothing to do with XJBikes.

Running IE7.0 and it simply does NOT provide the left-right (horizontal) scroll bars ANYWHERE on some hreads (on some, it does). For instance, on this page/post:

    http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... html#77554

even though there is no picture on that page (page 2), the text in the first post runs over the RH margin of the page (by about 10 characters worth) and there is no way to scroll the page. The only way I can "see" the missing text in the post is to highlight it, copy it, and paste it into a dummy e-mail that I create in outlook........

Note that there isn't even a picture on page 1 or 2 of that thread!

I write pages for our skool district and we have the same problem. We use a program and it uses .css based templetes. Mombo, Joomla, Modle and dotnetnuke all use their flavor of the same thing. As long as our server and all the 250+ computers on our local network run the same software and same updates, it works like it is supposed to. When we have a unit that is off by personal settings or a new update, things like this happen. It is the nature of the beast. As soon as everyone on the Internet uses all the same computer, software and settings all will be good! Hey, computers are only as smart as the idiots that program them.

Gosh, You're right! I had been so used to that anomaly I hadn't even tried using page up/down in a while.

This is Cool! Thanks for pointing it out, Steve.

I am on IE7 now, and on that thread
    http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... html#77554
I am not seeing anything for ME to scroll for.
Screen settings probably make a difference.
IF I make my IE window nearly the width of THIS Quick Reply text entry box, then I'll get the scroll at the bottom - I hope the pic shows

There is also the error on page message - another screen print of IE7. I see it very often here, but I dont usually look
