this has been puzzling me until i read about its connection to a sticking start switch...thanks...but...anybody ever hooked up an oil PRESSURE guage or light to one of these?? I WANT TO KNOW IF I HAVE CIRCULATING OIL PRESSURE,NOT JUST A FULL SUMP...... where can you tie in to an oil pressure orifice at top end of engine???

I don't know of any place for certain that can be tapped into to read oil pressure. The oil light is turned on by the oil level sensor mounted on the underside of the case in the oil pan. It only reads oil level and has no bearing on oil pressure aside from the fact that if the oil level is too low there will be no oil pressure. The sensor has been known to stick at times and can either correct itself in time or will need to be replaced.

Easiest place would probably be into the oil cooler lines (if it has one) but you'd have to fabricate some bits to do it
