Maxim Gauges

    Cant exactly find the right answer sorry

    Do any of the maxim gauges clusters that have an electric tach and mechanical Speedo?

    If yes. What style are they? The big box or the round pods

    Would like to change out the big box cluster and the two brick head lights on my 82 750 seca

    I can't speak for all XJs,but I know that the 80/81 650 Maxim (D-shaped as viewed from above) gauges were cable driven,whereas the 82/83 units(same shaped housings) had a cable driven speedo and an electronic tach.I am quite sure your bike has an electronic tach...I have a set from an 82 Maxim 650,not perfect,but very useable.
