    Hi all Xj owners

I 've recently purchased an 1984 XJ 750 bike. This is one that was manufactured only in 1984 and here you'll find some info about it:
    http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/yamaha ... s_1984.php
I've found your site just searching the net and thought it would be good to say Hello. :)

Here are some photos of my bike:

I have also one request. Has any of you possibly have a manual and could send it to me or tell me where I can download it? If not of my bike maybe of Yamaha xj 900.
    Cheers.

    Hey Adam,

Welcome! You should simply order the XJ CD. Not only will you get a manual, you'll get ever XJ Factory Service Manual in print all on two CD's. It's only $10 too boot!

    Enjoy your time here.

Czesc Adam, witamy :D (Hi Adam, welcome)

Yes, like Mr Fork said. Get the XJCD. I would wait a bit because a new version is just about to be announced and released. This may happen in the next few weeks. This way you can have the latest version

In the meantime, if you have specific questions feel free to drop us a line and we'll be glad to help you out. Also upload the pics of your bike into our growing Photo Gallery.

Did you find us using Google.pl? Did we come up close to the first few pages? What search words did you use?

    czesc, czesc :)

Please tell me how I can order the xjcd (Where is the link?)
and if it will also contain the manual to my 84 xj750 bike.
I found your site not by google.pl but by altavista.com. It's on the first page of the search results and I used the key words : "1984 yamaha xj 750".
Sure I will upload pictures into your gallery very soon.
For now I don't have any specific questions as there is winter in Poland now and I'm only waiting for spring to come.:)

The link for ordering XJCD is in our Links section on left under Main Menu. Or click HERE

There is also a 'sticky' thread about it in our XJ Chat forum.

Beautiful bike, Adam! In the US, only the 1983 XJ900 had that body style and I've always loved it.

Thanks Dean, I'm glad that you like my bike :)
For now I have a very simple question. I'm thinking about changing the oil and I'm not sure where is the outlet screw. Is it the one just in front of the engine beneath what I think is the oil filter?

Yes, on my bike the bolt head faces forward and takes (I think) 22mm socket.

Mine's a 19mm... seems strange to change something like that during the model run...

You're probably right. I might be thinking of the rear axle nut. Whatever it is, it's a big 'un.
