    Well, I think a set of bars from the boneyard would be cheaper than getting this set rechromed. Anyhow, this discoloroation is from the heat of the fire since it was directly in the flame. Is that caused they same way as what you were talking about and I just need to muscle through it?

    Looking for Maxim bars and controls?

    I've got a set of stock 650 H bars, and a set of 750 controls (flat mirror perch so not ideal for the maxim)

    I don't need controls, but how much do you want for the bars?

    Chacal, as far as gaskets go do you carry those? I need the ones for the left side cover, alternator cover, clutch cover, intake boots and exhaust headers. I'm also trying to get together a list of carb parts. I know I need all manner of seals for all of them and jets for one of them.

    I haven't got much idea what they're worth... I'm not in it to make money :D

    Cover the shipping and what they're worth to you... and they're yours.

    Mena a bit too far from me. If Jayson doesn't have something I need I might head that way.

    Hey Ryan, here you go:

    ec4) OEM Shifter Cover Gaskets. A must-replace item anytime you remove the shifter cover (left side of the bike) for periodic cleaning or clutch plate adjustment, repair, or replacement. Also listed is the round rubber o-ring seal where the shifter lever shaft comes through the shifter cover; this is a common source of leaks on these bikes.

    HCP964 OEM shifter cover-to-block paper Gasket, used on all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models.
    $ 10.50

    HCP973 OEM shifter cover, internal breather housing-to-cover (small) paper Gasket, used on all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models. NOTE: this gasket is for the breather toward the front of the bike, inside the shifter cover.
    $ 4.50

    HCP975 OEM shifter cover, internal breather housing-to-cover (large) paper Gasket, used on all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models. NOTE: this gasket is for the breather toward the rear of the bike, inside the shifter cover.
    $ 4.75

    HCP490 OEM shifter lever shaft rubber O-Ring Seal, used on all XJ550, XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, XJ900, and XJ1100 models, where the shifter lever shaft comes through the shifter cover.
    $ 5.00

    ec2) OEM oil pump/crankshaft cover ("YICS covers" on models so equipped) Cover-to-Block Gasket. A great idea to replace these if you remove the case covers. Although these gaskets don't seal any fluids, you don't really want grime and gunk and junk accumulating inside the covers.

    HCP998 OEM "YICS" Cover-to-Block Paper Gasket, fits all XJ550, XJ650, XJ750, and XJ900 models. Right and left side are the same. Each:
    $ 6.75

    HCP998SET2 OEM "YICS" Cover-to-Block Gaskets, set of 2:
    $ 12.50

    ec3) OEM Generator Cover-to-Block Gasket. A great idea to replace these anytime you remove the cover for periodic cleaning, testing, or brush replacement.

    HCP1057 OEM generator cover paper Gasket, fits all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models.
    $ 6.50

    ec4) OEM Clutch Cover Gaskets. A must-replace item anytime you remove the clutch cover (right side of the bike) for periodic cleaning or clutch plate adjustment, repair, or replacement.

    HCP233 OEM clutch cover-to-block paper Gasket, for all XJ550 models.
    $ 8.00

    HCP1025 OEM clutch cover-to-block paper Gasket, for all XJ650, XJ700 non-X, XJ750, and XJ900 models.
    $ 12.50

    HCP1028 OEM clutch cover-to-block center "cap" rubber Gasket, for all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models.
    $ 12.50

    HCP1029 OEM clutch cover center "cap" internal mounting rubber Grommet, for all XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900 models. Use 2 per cover. Each:
    $ 3.50

    ww8) Yamaha intake manifold-to-head GASKET and O-RING. Seals the intake manifold rubber boot to the cylinder head mating surface. A "must-replace" item whenever the intake boots are removed for any reason.

    HCP544 OEM intake manifold-to-head Gasket, used on all XJ650 (except turbo), all XJ700 non-X, and all XJ750 models. Each:
    $ 6.00

    HCP544SET4 OEM intake manifold-to-head Gasket, used on all XJ650 (except turbo), all XJ700 non-X, and all XJ750 models. Set of 4:
    $ 21.00

    Cylinder Head Exhaust Port Gaskets:

    a9) OEM and aftermarket cylinder head Exhaust Port Ring Gasket....the thin "doughnut" ring gasket between the cylinder head and the exhaust header pipe. A very common source of leaks. You ALWAYS replace these whenever you remove your exhaust header(s). Aftermarket reproductions fit and seal just like the originals.

    HCP583 OEM cylinder head Exhaust Port-to-Header pipe Ring Gasket, fits all XJ550, XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900RK models. Each:
    $ 4.25

    HCP583SET4 OEM cylinder head Exhaust Port-to-Header pipe Ring Gasket, set of 4:
    $ 16.00

    HCP1617 Aftermarket cylinder head Exhaust Port-to-Header pipe Ring Gasket, fits all XJ550, XJ650, XJ700, XJ750, and XJ900RK models., each:
    $ 2.50

    HCP1617SET4 Aftermarket cylinder head Exhaust Port-to-Header pipe Ring Gasket, set of 4:
    $ 9.50

    I also have all of the rest of the gaskets for the exhaust system, as well as all of the hardare, if you are in need of those pieces, too.
