New to the forum with and xj 1100 maxim

    I am new to the forum and want to say hello. I bought got an 82 xj 1100 maxim at then end of last year and am working on fixing it up nice. It runs but has a few issues here and there. Does anybody else have 1100's on the forum. It seems that most people have 650's and 750's. I love the 1100. It is a lot of bike but its a lot of fun.

    Welcome aboard! I have one of those 750's but there are some 1100's here. Some of them will chime in soon.

    Hi Jwazer, and welcome. I am in the same situation. Picked-up an 82 XJ1100 last August. I have a 750, same year, but really wanted an 1100. Been repairing, cleaning, and polishing it all Winter as time and weather allow. LOTS of knowlege available here, and the people are first rate. Enjoy it! Mike
