Can anyone verify for sure which tensioner I have on my 83 xj750?
I beleive its auto. I have and read the adjustment for the auto adjuster.

If mine is a manual, how do you adjust?

    thanks,

    Rich

I think if its manual it has a bolt in the end of the casting, if its auto it has a bolt on the side of the casting.

I think they both have a bolt in the end. The manual tensioner has a side bolt, auto does not.

83 should have auto tensioner I believe.
