    Its been a couple of years since I've used one of these and I'm embarassed to say I don't have to slightest idea of how to do even the simplest of tasks such as checking continuity.

    So a little crash course from the experts would help. I've got a little digital pocket multimeter with the wires attached (the ones we used to use you could plug the wires into different slots).

    Perhaps we should compile a list of common electrical tests done on XJ's and post the set ups and procedures for others to use. There's nothing like seeing it done to assure you you've tested it correctly.
    1. How to test the coil
    2. How to test the plug caps
    3. How to test the head light relay
    Component testing like that. Feel free to add to the list and we'll see what can be put together.

    I actualy wrote something along this line for my class. Will dig out electroninc copy and see if I can post it on line somewhere.
