I'd like to make room for soft saddlebags and it looks like the rear flashers need to move more to the back of the bike. Has anyone done this who would like to share some insight or pictures? It doesn't look difficult, but if someone has successfully done this then no need for me to reinvent the wheel.

    thanks in advance

Yup - you can either buy a "turn signal relocation kit" and make your own extension wires, or you can make the bar of metal yourself and the wires.
Mounts to your licence plate bracket - something like this one, but without the top folded piece:
    Lic Plate Sig Bracket

Not quite the same bike - but I made a bracket (a little simpler than the one Altus links to), took the small blinkers allready installed apart and soldered (not much room in there!) longer wires which could connect to the original connections.

Ha - thanks Len :D (Now belongs to SWMBO :)

(Actually, when putting in the pics I noticed it too - some plate, huh)?

Unfortunately we don´t get to decide the size (!§) ourselves (Muahahahaha 8)

Thanks for all the suggestions. My Dad and I made a bracket. It is 8.5 in. from bend to bend with a 2 in. bend back on either side.

    Nice job.....

I'm thinking of doing this on my XS...
But first, may try moving it back, noticed I have 2 holes further back on the inner fender...If I don't like that, I'll be making a similar bracket.
