    Hello everyone my name is Shawn, i have an 81 xj650 that i just got done doing a bit of work to, which includes a lot of prep and paint work which i did with a crap load of rattle cans,but i needed some info on a couple things, so i headed off to the interweb and stumbled across this site, and found a lot info here and im still finding more out everyday, so thanks for the info guys look forward to chatting with you all a bit later.     Thanks guys for the welcome, i'll definitly keep you guys posted on the makeover of the XJ. Gamuru we'll definitly have to hook up for a ride and a peek at the XJ. Spinalator thanks, the wheels were a lil bit of a pain all i did was SuperClean the hek out of them, then Xylene them and began dumping coat after coat after coat of paint and claer on them, turned out well, no complaints here!

    Thanks Jd,seat has been purchased and is in my shop waiting for me to fab up some brackets so i can install. Next thing is i was going to purchase a new header for it but cant find one anywhere, everywhere ive checked there all B/O so im going to rework the one i have and then throw some header wrap on it and call it good to go!
