    Gday there guys, as the title says im a newbie from australia. my name is james and i own an 85 xj 900 which is in very good and original condition. I also have an 85 xj 750 on its way to my shed which is also in excellent condition but this one is for a mate who after riding mine decided that he had to have one too. im looking forward to talking all things xj as i float around here. cheers james..... :D

    Welcome James. We need more strength in numbers from the southern hemisphere. You'll find some great info on here and if you haven't already got one I recommend chasing up a copy of the XJCD. It'll be full of great info for your XJ900 and your mates 750 and it's cheap as chips.

    I'm based in Mulgoa at the moment (near Penrith NSW) and my bike is in as many pieces as it possibly could be, but I hope in the coming months it will once again be more than the some of its parts.

    thanks guys, im from echuca/moama which is on the vic/nsw border. i will be chasing up the cd as it sounds like a very valuable resource. after having cb/cx hondas all my riding life i have found myself easily converted to yamaha after buying my xj.
