Going on a little trip this afternoon. Colorado Springs to Breckenridge Colorado, this afternoon. The back way. Anyone care to join. I will post up some pics later. Finally, a little time to go riding. I am going to spend the night and ride back tomorrow. It should be a good trip.

Here are a few pics. Had a great time. First fill up was 47 MPG second was 33, but VERY heavy wind. The trip back on one fill up got 67MPG! what a difference going down hill and very light wind makes.
So it only 122 miles door to door, but what a ride. Beautiful!!!!! I am going to have to take that ride again SOON.

    Dude I'm jealeous

I had the chance several years ago to spend 3 weeks traversing the Colorado Rockies on my old Katana. I absolutely had a blast, literally. We started over Loveland Pass from Loveland Ski Area the third week of June. 76 degrees, calm and sunny at 7000 feet. By the time we hit the top it was 31 degrees windy and snowing. Started down the other side in first and second gear. As we came down toward Arapaho Basin the sun was shining, the wind had calmed and I was able to extract my heart from my throat.

    What an adventure.

yup. You never know what the weather will throw at you on top of a pass. It was trying to snow on me when I came over Hoosier, on my way over.
