    Hey Rick,

    Is this your auction?

Do you think I would be able to fit this on my 650 Maxim? It looks like it adds about an inch to the profile of the filter housing. I wonder if my exhaust pipes would be in the way.

Is this the same cooler/oil filter housing as say a 750Seca? Cuz I could steal it from my 750 Seca and replace it with this one.

I'm trying to make my bike run as cool as possible for my trip across Europe cuz last year I don't think there was a day under 35C (95F) and 45C (115F) days were not uncommon. Can you say forest fires?

I'm putting on a ceramic exhaust manifold and painting the top end with BBE (black box emitter) paint. But I worry this won't be enough.

Anyways, I'm rambling. Is this your auction? If so let me know and I'll make sure to over pay for all the great advice you give this forum.

Elvis.... Some of the 650's came with their own oil cooler fitted... I know because I have one sitting in a box.

Only thing is they don't come up for sale very often.

That's not my stuff up for sale. The Cooler I had from a 900 went on my 750.
    Fits like a glove. Almost!

I has to move the Horns to the back of the bike and Fabricate a Mount for the Cooler.
Couple of Stainless Bolts and some Rubber Hose made the Lower Mount work.
The Upper portion is still a work in progress.

With a few Plastic Ties holding the Locating Rod into the Brazed-on fitting on the 750 which I had a rubber bushing that fit that Braze-on.

I'm giving the 750 Boys a heads-up on that eBay Cooler because its a good deal and does wonderful things for the 750 Engine when cooling that Oil for it!

It's in ok condition... can take some pics but I think the postage could hit the $30-$40USD mark

I didn't read that you were in Auckland New Zealand. I think I'll save the postage and just come pick it up myself. Keep the beers cold!

Thanks for the shout out, Rick. How much of that other stuff will swap to a 750 - handlebars, front brake parts?

I'm sure it would be a trip of a lifetime. I've always wanted to get to that side of the world and flush a few toilets.
