    Hello all,
Riding (well not because it needs help, see technical section please) XJ600 1991 around in the UK.
It's my second one. I have to confess it gets treated badly since I have no garage and no time do give it TLC but it's a great faithful old hack, will sit all day at 80 and I can still walk when I get off it. Tyres are cheap and last but it has enough guts to still scare me now and again.
Please have a look at my repair question.
    Thanks
    Kevin

Also, anyone know where to get a cheap shock in the UK. (I'm thinking £60 would be a nice price.)

Across the "pond" D. Nice place littered with 900's (or so it looks to me in my dreams). Welcome to you Kevin. Pity we didn't get to keep the XJ around here after 80s. Photos would be nice.

    Sorry, never followed this thread.

Yes, a fair few 900's but also lots of salted winter roads and humidity so most bikes run as everyday bikes (like xj's) suffer pretty quickly. Many, many more sports bikes since we don't have many long sweeping open roads so most people buy weekend bikes for the twisty stuff around country lanes

I'm in Bristol, with the second most polluted air after London. We do let bikes use the bus-lanes here though, rather than the madness of London's no-bikes-in-the-bus-lane rule.
