I was thinking of removing driver foot pegs and replacing them with floorboards, has anyone else done this? The thing is I would really like to have them more forward than the stock pegs, but not as forward as most of the forward control setups I have seen. I think possibly a universal mount may work on the frame, but doesnt look like alot of room to mount them. Also if this is possible I am unsure of how to get the clutch, and brake pedal forward slightly to work with them, wondering if it would be possible to cut them and weld in a longer mid section? any suggestions or idea's would be great.

I'd like to hear about any experiences with this as well. I don't need to move the controls forward but wonder if floorboards would decrease clearance?

SnoSheriff, your bike looks pretty good. I've been thinking about doing something like that with my bike. Did you buy them or make them yourself? Could you post some close up pics? The more detailed the better.

Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Been busy with work and kids playing ball. I just finished swampthing II. I put full floorboards and made a heel toe shifter. I will try and get some pics posted this weekend.
