    There is a great task that you WE SUGGEST you perform for the betterment of your new group.

    If not then check it out. It is the XJBikes Map!!

    Please review to check out which wrenchers are in your neighborhood.
    Or which riding buddies are close.
    Or who might have some unobtainium parts laying in their garage.

    Add yourself on the map so that others can do the same.
    As of today we have 3384 forum members
    but we only have 370 mapped locations
    That equates to a measley ~9%, lets all pitch in and add your icon where it belongs(on a map)

    I wound up bobbing around in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico for a little while until I figured out how to use the map.

    You can keep clicking any spot and then hit the update button, it should only take the last place you clicked. i had the same problem.

    I really like my XJ650 - I had an XS850 in 1980 I bought new - loved that bike.

    I saw the mileage survey - I'd like ot hear from higher mileage folks my 82 has close to 40k on it and runs great.

    I dont think we should require, some folks dont like their info in CyberSpace
    Just a friendly reminder that the folks on here are real people, with real families, and real conversations/stories.
    I have met only one person from the boards, and would love to emprove that number.
    Maybe go for a ride and talk about bikes.

    While we are at it, Please:
    Don't forget to use the spell checker at least occasionally
    Maybe a little grammar and punctuation etiquette might also be nice.
    Try not to type in all uppercase.

    It doesn't have to be perfect. I know I'm not perfect either (just ask my girlfriend!) , but it really does make it easier to decipher what someone may be asking or stating.
