Pipe Wraps

    I'm considering a set of pipe wraps for my 1985 xj700. Anyone have any advice from past experiences ? Benefits? Disadvantages ?

    Blair, didn't know you were so close. I live just there in CBS, Kelligrews actually. I seen you post about the guy out around where you live who you say is good on the wrenchs. I got a 85 maxim x that I will be tearing into soon(Once I figure out my wish list for Chacal), so I might be looking for some local help with the engine.
    As for the exhaust wrap, I like the black wrap, looks sweet. I believe i seen on this fourm that someone has black exhaust wrap for sale.
