My starting button has completely fallen out of my 550. So I am looking for the right starter switch.

I've got the starter pushbuttons to replace the missing ones:

    Control Switch Hardware:

HCP1072 aftermarket control switch PUSHBUTTON & SPRING SET, this round black plastic button correctly replaces broken or missing original starter pushbutton (on the right side control switch) and horn pushbutton (on the LH control switch). Comes with the contact spring. Slightly longer than stock but fits and looks just great once installed. Fits all XJ550 and XJ650 (except Turbo) models: horn button on the left side switch unit, starter pushbutton on the right side switch.

I know a guy that need the Handlebar Controls -- Left and Right.

Compllete with the Brake and Clutch Switches.

    How much for the set?

(Will these go on an 80 Seca 650 he asks? Me tinks so.)

I am looking for a fuel tank that is in good shape, IE: not leaking, no major dents, and clean inside. How does yours look?

What you need to get for the fork, front wheel, and front brakes? And will it all work (I'd imagine yes) on my 80' 650 Maxim?

My brother lives in Scottsdale and might be able to pick the stuff up for me and ship it here..

Re: PARTING 1982 MAXIM 650 YCIS, LET THE FEEDING FRENZY BEGI

Hi. What would you charge for the turn signal flasher relay (I think that's what it's called) and, while you're at it, for the turn signal switch itself? I just bought a used XJ650H Maxim and the previous owner took all the turn signals off. (I have to have them here in GA.) While I do have them mounted, they aren't working yet and the switch and relay are my next things to check.

    Thanks,

    Rich

Believe it or not, you could probably replace your right and left controls with brand new ones from the dealer. I switched out the ones on my XJ650 last year for like $135 for both. Hope it helps.
