So, in my syncing/YICS adventure this week, I noticed when I pull out the YICS tool after the sync, the end rubber was coated with black gunk.
Almost like dirty oil or sludgeIsh stuff...

Should I be trying to de-gunk that passage somehow?

Also, I know there are some YICS related stickies, but maybe if there were a master YICS thread that addresses building/using/cleaning passages all in one?

    I dunno just a thought.
This forum totally rocks..as you well know.

The passage is "maintnence free." I call BS on that.
The passage can be simply clean by soaking a cloth strip in Marvel Mystery Oil and pushing through until it comes out clean.

    OR
You can go the whole nine yards and clean the inlet ports too.
Rickomatic had a great sounding technique, but I am unfammilar with it.
